TOMTEN TOUR!

Go ahead, grab your calendar and reserve Sunday, October 22nd at 12:30pm. It’s bound to be a beautiful afternoon full of great people, fabulous animals and a lovely view of the Fall foliage.
Here is your chance to catch up and have some fun with one of your favorite rescues/sanctuaries or get introduced to a new one! Get up close and personal with animals like our latest rescue, Audrey Heifer and of course, our new mare and filly. Learn about our and our animals histories, our mission, methods and philosophies as well our adoption, sponsorship, volunteer and educational opportunities, all while immersing yourself in our beautiful farm located right here in New Hampshire’s beautiful White Mountains.
Here are the details. Plan to arrive at 12:15. Our gate does not open until 12:15 (sorry, no earlier as we are preparing) and our tour begins promptly at 12:30 at which point the gates are closed and locked. The tour is approximately an hour and a half (it can run a bit over depending on questions) and of course, we hope you’ll stay a little longer to enjoy the view, peruse our TF&S swag, spend a little extra time with the animals and have all of your questions answered. Go ahead, bring a list, we love to share our journey! Gates close at 3:15 so we can clean up and get started on evening chores in a timely fashion.
As with any event, structure makes it smoother, so there is necessary fine print. Due to space restrictions and so we don’t overwhelm our animals, a head count is important. As always, this is RSVP only-we regret WE CANNOT ACCEPT FB clicks, ”interested” or “going” as a formal response (but we absolutely love to see your enthusiasm and informal response). Please, please, please private message or email at tomtenfarmandsanctuary@gmail.com, call or text (617-331-8435) if you’ll be coming (and let us know with who) so we can get your party on our roster and pass along our address. Should your plans change, please be sure to let us know so others may attend. We regret that no early birds, late arrivals or drop-ins are allowed as it detracts from the experience of others and space is limited.
There is no formal admission charge to join the fun, however, contributions of any wish list item (items will be regularly posted in the comments below) or donations of any amount are humbly asked. It is a costly venture to keep this farm afloat and we can’t maintain, grow or host you at Tomten Farm and Sanctuary without help.
Security and safety is important to the well being of all at TF&S. We require a signed release and a photo ID to enter our property- no exceptions. I know it seems like a lot however, with children, animals and strangers at our personal home, it is important. Please print Tomten releases off the website (http://tomtenfarmandsanctuary.org/TomtenLiabilityForm.pdf) peruse at your leisure, sign and bring with you to the Tour.
Don’t forget to RSVP, bring great energy and any and all questions you have about us, the animals or our upcoming plans. Bonus- you will get to see the beginnings of our new barn! Whether it’s your first visit or you’re a returning supporter, we can’t wait to see you! And as for our new animal crew? Well, they can’t wait to meet you. Neigh, quack, baaaa, meow, woof, oink, honk, maaa, bray and of course, moooo! Thanks for helping us make dreams come true for animals in need.
